TALKING TWINS

The mumblings continue from our inseparable pair. This time it all started when Lynn arrived looking somewhat under the weather and obviously not very well.

Robin: Gosh Lynn, you look terrible. What's the problem?
Lynn: Well Robs, I've been getting these bad sneezing fits.
Robin: That sounds very bad?
Lynn: Actually, it's worse than that!
Robin: Why is that?
Lynn: Well every time I sneeze I have an orgasm.
Robin: Blimey! What are you taking for it?
Lynn: Pepper!!

UK JIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS?
The UK jive championship is a slightly different event to the CEROC Jive championships. It incorporates all forms of modern jive, such as CEROC, Le Roc, Le Jive etc as well as Lindy Hop, Salsa and other forms of dancing. It was held in October at the fabulous Hammersmith Palais. The event was an all day affair starting at 11-30 AM and finishing at midnight. As well as the competitions there was also a live R & B band to satisfy the hoards of dancers. And a small band of intrepid dancers made sure that Welwyn/Hatfield was well represented. In the 'Intermediate section', Mike Hawkes & Julie Hodgkinson made it through to the quarter finals. And in the 'Dance with a stranger' section, Julie Hodgkinson and Rita Gordon made the quarter finals, and Mike Hawkes & Malcolm Kearney made the semi finals. The overall standard of dancing was very high, particularly in the showcase section & the team challenge. Everyone who went enjoyed the day and anyone who didn’t should make a point of going to this event and also the Ceroc championships next year. You don’t have to enter, just watch, marvel and learn
